Weeding Your Garden of Life

Have you ever thought of your life as a garden?

You start off as a seed. And then, over time, with much patience and water and nutrients, you are able to grow. You grow and you blossom into this beautiful flower; a flower that shines and is so beautiful that even others stop to admire and appreciate its natural and authentic beauty.

Sometimes though, your garden becomes overrun with weeds. And just like you weed your flowerbed in your front yard, the same applies to your life. Sift through the soil, locate the weeds, and clean your garden a bit; remove the weeds so that your garden can continue to thrive and flourish. When you fail to remove the weeds, your flowers pay the price. Here is how:

🌻Weeds compete with the plant's food, water, and nutrients
🌻Weeds block out sunlight
🌻Weeds crowd the space of the garden
🌻Weeds camouflage pests and diseases
🌻Weeds are a problem that will only get worse if left untreated
🌻It can be therapeutic to pull weeds

The same applies to you...

🌱You are not able to grow and flourish if there is someone robbing you of what is needed to thrive.
🌱You are not able to bask in the sunshine if someone is holding you down in the darkness.
🌱You are not able to have space if someone is invading yours.
🌱If you continue to allow the "weeds" to invade your life, they will continue to do so because they think they're allowed to.

You can change this. You have the capability to remove the weeds and pests that are holding you down. The ones that are keeping you from growing. The ones that don't belong. So what are you waiting for?

Put on your gloves. Get out your shovel. Get to work 🌱
